Shelly is Chief Executive Officer of Moores Lab AI, where he drives the company’s vision to revolutionize semiconductor design and verification through agentic artificial intelligence. Shelly holds a Bachelor’s degree from IIT Madras and a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor design and hardware engineering. With over 25 years of experience in silicon engineering and AI, Shelly has led teams at Microsoft and ARM, contributing to high-impact chip programs across consumer, cloud, and AI infrastructure platforms. At Microsoft, he played key roles in developing foundational silicon for products including HoloLens, Xbox, and Azure AI systems, giving him deep expertise in end-to-end hardware engineering and verification bottlenecks. Shelly is known for his bold leadership and mission to democratize silicon design, making advanced chip development accessible to both startups and established engineering teams alike. Beyond his technical career, he is recognized as a visionary CEO shaping the future of AI-augmented engineering in a once-in-a-generation industry shift.

With more than eight years of experience at the intersection of silicon and artificial intelligence, Shashank previously drove AI-augmented hardware engineering initiatives for Microsoft Azure, including early work integrating large-scale learning models into silicon development processes. Earlier in his career, Shashank contributed to engineering efforts at Tesla and NXP Semiconductors, gaining practical expertise in automotive compute systems, vision accelerators, and embedded silicon design. An accomplished innovator, he has been recognized as the #1 winner in the MIT COVID-19 Challenge hackathon and selected as an Emerging AI & Semiconductor Innovator by Plug and Play Tech Center. Shashank is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, where he authors insights on how agentic AI can address talent shortages and productivity challenges in the semiconductor industry. He also served as an IIT Build Fellow with Foundation Capital, reflecting his commitment to advancing AI-driven engineering and fostering future-ready technology ecosystems.

Sirish is Chief Technology Officer of Moores Lab AI, where he leads the company’s technology vision at the intersection of AI software and advanced semiconductor systems. With over 15 years of experience across software, silicon, and artificial intelligence, he has built and scaled complex engineering solutions at industry leaders including Qualcomm, Intel, and Microsoft. Prior to Moores Lab AI, Sirish worked at Microsoft focusing on large-scale, production-grade hardware and system validation. Earlier in his career, he founded an engineering startup and held roles in hardware emulation and system-on-chip development at Intel. His work includes contributions to Fire Science through physics-informed machine learning, applying advanced AI techniques to real-world scientific problems. Sirish holds a Master’s degree in Machine Learning and Data Science from UC San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Computer Architecture, System-on-Chip, and Embedded Systems from Portland State University.
